Messaging and Notifications
Your payment provider will send you notifications when compliance maintenance tasks are due.
Please ensure you allow VikingCloud Protect to send you notifications, otherwise you may miss important maintenance tasks.
You will be prompted to allow notifications on download, alternatively, update in settings.
Your PCI DSS support team may send you messages to alert you to upcoming events with your payment compliance.
You will receive notifications when PCI DSS compliance maintenance tasks are due. The mobile app facilitates the completion of some of these tasks.
These notifications may include:
- Upcoming or overdue scans on your account
- When to attest to a passing scan
- Alerts that your compliance may be approaching revalidation
- Alerts that your PCI DSS support team needs to speak to you in relation to your compliance
These messages will appear in the notifications centre of your phone, and in your app message tab, which can be accessed by clicking ‘MESSAGES’ at the bottom of the screen.
When you receive a message, simply tap the notification to view it. Full details and instructions will be included.
If you wish to contact your PCI DSS support team in response to a message, just click the phone icon at the top right of the screen.
This will allow you to call directly.
